Besides traveling to Cuba this summer to visit Matt, Andrew and I also went to Oregon with my family to celebrate my brother Eric's wedding to Heidi. We traveled out there on Andrew's birthday and Eric and Heidi had planned a celebration.
Owen knows how to dig into those cupcakes - unlike Andrew! Andrew just doesn't like being dirty... yet!
OSU has a Marine Science Center out on the coast that we stopped at. Andrew loved watching the fish in the tanks and dove right in to touch some of the animals we were allowed to. He wasn't scared of any sea urchin or anenome!
We also stopped at a park to see some sights. You park up top and then take stairs down to the water. As seen by this pic it was just a little windy up above!
We were able to see plenty of starfish and seals out in the water. The seals were in the open water feeding and unfortunately too far out for Andrew to enjoy.

After all the fun in the wind we headed to downtown Newport where a bunch of sea lions always hang out. Andrew loved this part - especially when they started making a bunch of noise.
