We followed through with our plans and got one more trip in before Matt leaves. Initially we thought about driving around Provence but decided it would be less stressful to just fly somewhere. The island of Mallorca was our choice. The weather was great, a welcomed break from dreary Germany in February.
There was an indoor pool at the resort where Andrew first tried his floating abilities. He didn't like it too much to start but soon tolerated it. I'll have to check into swim lessons for him this summer. 
This was taken at a round fortress we visited in Palma on our last day. The name was Castell de Bellver. There were some great views from here! 
Here's a pic of the cathedral in Palma. Unfortunately, we weren't able to spend too much time inside because a certain someone decided to throw a fit due to hunger and fatigue. He was such a trooper the whole trip but I think he'd had enough by the last day!
The interior of the cathedral includes this amazing chapel. Its walls have a massive ceramic composition depicting the Jesus-making-bread/wine/fish episode from the bible. It's a contemporary take on an old subject--really fantastic.

The remaining footage was at our resort. It was absolutely beautiful! It was nice to go in the off season so it wasn't too busy but if we have time, we plan to return next May before coming back to the States.
